It's extremely beautiful to be able to photograph a new and young family. It's even more special for me since I took Jake's newborn photographs as well. Seeing this little guy grow up so fast has hit home really hard. I too have a son who was born not too long after and we will be tang our first family photo's in a month!

When we arrived at our location, little Jake wasn't too happy. They've driven about 45 min near bedtime to have their photo's taken. Teary eyed and tired, Jake had his guard on. I was determined to get him to smile and have fun...and he within 15 mins after letting him explore and do his thing (with help and motivation from hi loving daddy), he was his old self.

This sun kissed evening made for some beautiful golden toned photo's. Mom, Jenny wore a hand crafted floral crown made by the one and only Tara from Freckled Floral near the end of their session.
